Here you can find some interesting widgets I made using WolframAlpha. They’re quite simple but really useful in my opinion, they can help you do a quick check when architecting solution or when you need to plan your storage resources.
I’ve also hosted my old WWN decoder, it’s useful to know more informations about the storage knowing just the WWN, it supports a limited range of storages right now (mostly HDS, Compellent and EMC) because the decoder was created using a reverse engineering process, so if your WWN is not decoded or the informations provided are not correct please let me know at fabio@p2v.it.
It can decode both NAA IEEE Registered and NAA IEEE Registered Extended WWNs so you can also feed it with the naa. (just the part after the naa.) WWNs from vSphere.
You can access the decoder here: http://p2v.it/tools/wwndec.
